Moraines - Maple, Wisconsin is a scenic landscape that captures the rolling hills of a sheep farm, south of Lake Superior. It is created with beeswax and botanical pigments on a heavy-weight cotton printmaking paper. Each color source is handmade and includes botanical sources of onion skin, logwood, cochineal, buckthorn berries and Japanese indigo. The indigo is grown in Minnesota and celebrates this amazing blue pigment.

The artwork is mounted on a hardwood cradle with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a poplar floater frame with natural finish An additional layer of protection is added with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish.
