Briar Lake is inspired by the lakes of the Northwoods. It is crafted with natural pigments on heavyweight printmaking paper that has been hand-dyed. The pigments used include Orange Cosmo, Logwood, Tara Pod, and Indigo. All are bonded to the paper’s fibers after fourteen rounds of labor-intensive hand-dyeing.This abstract piece celebrates the natural world, adding a unique dimension to any landscape.

The artwork is mounted on a hardwood cradle with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a maple floater frame with natural finish An additional layer of protection is added with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish.
